Crude Oil, Product Blending & Storage

Facilities at GOTAC are capable of storing and blending light to heavy crude oil and refined products including naphtha, kerosene, diesel, vacuum gas oil, fuel oil, biodiesel, gasoline and roofing asphalt. Our ingress and egress capabilities, including deep-water access on the Corpus Christi Ship Channel, offer a wide range of product movement optionality.

Our fully permitted, 44-acre site has 800,000 barrels of existing tankage and can accommodate up to an additional 3 million barrels of liquid petroleum storage. Storage capabilities and configurations are flexible. Pending customer demand, we can design and construct a wide range of tank sizes, add to our existing array of heated, insulated, floating-roof tanks and include interconnecting pipeline manifolds to accommodate blending and product transfers.

GOTAC has existing pipeline connections, including bidirectional pipes capable of transferring crude and distillates, to neighboring refineries CITGO and Valero. Additional pipeline connections, including ones dedicated to clean product transfers, can readily be built pending customer demand.

Dock facilities at GOTAC include dedicated access to a 600’ LOA, 35’ barge dock (soon to be expanded to 41’ draft) and, by Q3 2017, shared priority use rights to a deep-water dock that, at 840’ LOA and 45’ draft, will be capable of handling Aframax-sized tankers for unloading and loading at a rate of 25,000 barrels per hour.
