GOTAC Terminal

The Gravity Oil Terminal at Corpus Christi (GOTAC) is a Title V-permitted, 44-acre petroleum products logistics and processing terminal located on the Corpus Christi Ship Channel in the heart of the region's refining center. With all permits in place for processing, storage and throughput, this intermodal facility serves traders, producers and refiners of petroleum products, including clean products and light crude/condensate produced in the Eagle Ford Shale and the Permian Basin.

GOTAC is located in the heart of the Port of Corpus Christi refining complex and is pipeline-connected to nearby refineries CITGO and Valero. The facility’s Title V permit allows it to store, blend, throughput and process crude and petroleum products.

GOTAC consists of 800,000 barrels of existing tankage plus undeveloped, fully-permitted acreage that can support up to an additional 3 million barrels of storage capacity. The facility has shared priority use rights to a 600’ LOA, 35’ draft vessel and barge dock and is on schedule to have priority deep-water access – via an Aframax-capable dock that can service vessels up to 840’ LOA and 45’ draft – by Q1 2018.

Additional facilities at GOTAC include a heavy/intermediate crude processing unit (CPU) with a nameplate capacity of 30,000 BPD; heated tanks for asphalt blending and storage; and rail and truck ingress and egress with loading and unloading facilities for both crude oil and asphalt.
